Hello, I thought I would introduce myself.
I have a 3-month-old and a 19-month-old. I breastfed my first boy for 8-and-a-half months and am currently feeding my youngest baby. I am such a fan of breastfeeding. It's so satisfying seeing your child grow from the milk that was designed especially for him! It also helped me lose lots of weight - a welcome bonus!
I went along to BRAG sessions a couple of times with baby number one, but unfortunately I discovered it a bit too late to get the most out of it. This time round it is my toddler putting me off going. He's a bit clingy and shy in new situations. Perhaps I'll take along toys and snacks to keep him busy because it's so great meeting other women in the same situation and having a chit-chat and a coffee with the group leaders. Can anyone else let me know if they, too, take older children along?
Hope to meet more mums soon.
Sarah. x
