Breast-Feeding Support

Breastfeeding Support is available from your Midwife, Health Visitor, Breastfeeding Counsellor and/or Support Groups.
You can contact a Midwife at Perth Royal Infirmary anytime, Tel. 01738 473425, attend a group or contact the support lines listed below.

Breastfeeding support groups provide contact with other Mums and Babies and offer support, advice and information on all aspects of Breastfeeding. Breastfeeding Groups are held in Perth and Kinross

Letham Every Friday between 10am and noon there is a Breast Feeding Club which meets in the Coffee Bar of the Letham Sports Centre, in Perth.

Baby Massage Course

Perth
Kinross
Strathtay

A three-week course for Mums (& Dads) to learn Baby massage, which has have many health benefits for babies. Cost £5.00 per course– places are limited and must be booked. Baby Massage is also run in Kinross and Strathtay, and some GP practices.

  Talking Babies
This six-week course is run by Health Visitors with input from other health professionals and covers information on a wide range of issues relating to life with a new baby.
